Born in London, UK, Murdo Barker-Mill is a New York based cinematographer and director. A current MFA candidate at Columbia University (Screenwriting & Directing), his narrative work explores the darker side of familial relationships, often through the horror genre.
Before getting his start in film, Murdo studied Medicine at Cambridge University, specialising in addiction and visual cognition. He draws from these prior experiences, that stand apart from the world of film in all their beautiful strangeness.
